Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Rotherham, S25
Salary: £460 – £600 per week
Contract Type: Full-time, long-term / Day-to-day
Start Date: Immediately

About the Role:
As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting students with additional needs, both in and out of the classroom. You will work closely with teaching staff to deliver tailored support, helping pupils engage with learning and develop confidence and independence.
Responsibilities:
• Support students with a range of Special Educational Needs, including Autism, ADHD, and SEMH
• Assist in delivering personalised learning plans and adapting classroom activities
• Build positive and trusting relationships with students to encourage engagement
• Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff
• Monitor and record student progress, providing feedback where required
• Support students with personal care where necessary, maintaining dignity and respect
• Help manage behaviour in line with school policies
Requirements:
• Previous experience working with children or young people with SEN is desirable
• A good understanding of different additional needs and support strategies
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A patient, resilient, and adaptable approach
• A genuine passion for supporting young people
