Job Title: SEMH Teaching Assistant
Location: Dinnington
Pay rate: £460 - £600 per week (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract type -Day-to-day/ Long-term, Full-time/ Part-time

GSL Education are looking for a passionate SEMH Teaching Assistant to join a school in Dinnington. The Social, Emotional and Mental Health Teaching Assistant (SEMH TA) will work closely with pupils who require additional emotional and behavioural support, helping them build confidence, stability, and positive routines.
Prime Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 and small group support for students with SEMH needs.
- Support behaviour management and implement de-escalation strategies.
- Help students regulate emotions and engage with classroom activities.
- Work collaboratively with teachers and pastoral staff.
- Maintain a safe and supportive learning environment.
Requirements of SEMH TA:
- Experience working with children or young people with SEMH or behavioural needs.
- Calm, patient, and resilient approach.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage challenging situations effectively.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
