Salary: £100 to £130 per day (depending on experience)

Contract: Day-to-day / Long-term | Part-time / Full-time

GSL Education are seeking a reliable and motivated Cover Supervisor to work across schools in Middlesbrough. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working with young people and wants to gain classroom experience.
What You’ll Be Doing as a Cover Supervisor (CS):
- Supervising classes in the absence of the teacher
- Delivering pre-prepared work and ensuring students remain on task
- Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies
- Supporting students with their learning and encouraging participation
- Building positive relationships with pupils and staff
- Creating a calm, focused, and safe learning environment
What We’re Looking for in a Cover Supervisor (CS):
- Experience working with young people (school-based experience desirable but not essential)
- Confidence in leading a classroom and managing behaviour
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- A positive, proactive, and resilient attitude
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
