Job Title: Primary Teacher

Salary: £120 – £160 per day (Depending on Experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day / Long-term | Part-time / Full-time
GSL Education are seeking a passionate, dedicated, and enthusiastic Primary Teacher to join a warm and welcoming primary school in South Shields. This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified teacher who is committed to creating joyful, stimulating, and inclusive learning experiences for young pupils.
As a Primary Teacher, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality teaching across the primary age range, supporting children’s academic development, emotional wellbeing, and confidence as lifelong learners.
Your Role as a Primary Teacher Will Include:
- Delivering well-structured, engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum.
- Creating a nurturing and supportive classroom environment where every child feels valued.
- Differentiating teaching to support children with varying abilities, learning styles, and needs.
- Monitoring pupil progress and providing regular, constructive feedback to pupils and parents.
- Collaborating effectively with colleagues, support staff, and school leadership.
What We’re Looking For:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) — essential.
- Experience teaching within a primary school setting (EYFS, KS1, or KS2).
- Strong behaviour management and the ability to build positive relationships with young learners.
- A creative, caring, and adaptable teaching approach.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
