Salary: Up to £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-Day / Long-Term, Part-Time / Full-Time

GSL Education are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Science Teacher to join a supportive school across Barnsley (S70, S71). This Science Teacher role is ideal for someone who can deliver engaging lessons and spark curiosity across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.
As a Science Teacher, you will be responsible for creating dynamic and inclusive lessons that cater to a range of abilities. The successful candidate will have strong subject knowledge and the ability to motivate and challenge students to achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver high-quality Science lessons across key stages.
- Engage and inspire students through practical and theoretical learning.
- Assess and monitor student progress, adapting teaching strategies as needed.
- Maintain strong classroom management and a positive learning environment.
- Work collaboratively with the department and wider school team.
Requirements for the Science Teacher role:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience teaching Science within a school setting.
- Strong subject knowledge across one or more Science disciplines.
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
- An enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply through GSL Education.
