PMLD SEN Teaching Assistant – Barnet
Are you an experienced PMLD SEN Teaching Assistant looking for a full-time role in a supportive SEN setting? This Barnet-based opportunity is ideal for those with a personal care or health & social care background, confident supporting pupils with PMLD and complex needs.
Job Title: PMLD SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Barnet
Pay: £95 – £120 per day (depending on experience)
Contract: Full-Time | Monday–Friday | Term Time
The Role
• 1:1 and small group support for pupils with PMLD
• Supporting personal care and mobility
• Assisting with sensory activities and communication-based approaches
• Working in structured classroom environments
• Promoting engagement, wellbeing and independence
• Working alongside teachers and therapists
• Maintaining a calm, patient approach at all times
Who We’re Looking For
• Experience as a PMLD SEN Teaching Assistant or supporting complex SEN
• Background in SEN, care, or health & social care
• Confident with personal care support
• Calm, reliable and compassionate
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Proactive and committed
