SEMH Teaching Assistant – Enfield

Job Title: SEMH Teaching Assistant
Location: Enfield
Pay: £95 – £120 per day
Contract: Full-Time | Term Time

The Role – SEMH Teaching Assistant

• 1:1 and small group support as an SEMH Teaching Assistant
• Supporting pupils with SEMH needs and behaviour challenges
• Using de-escalation strategies as an SEMH Teaching Assistant
• Building strong relationships with pupils with SEMH
• Supporting emotional regulation and engagement
• Working in a structured, behaviour-led environment
• Collaborating with teachers and pastoral teams

Who We’re Looking For – SEMH Teaching Assistant

• Experience as an SEMH Teaching Assistant or with SEMH needs
• Strong behaviour management and resilience
• Calm, consistent and confident SEMH Teaching Assistant
• Background in PRUs, SEN schools or mentoring is desirable
