Job Title: Teaching Assistant
Location: Barnsley (S70, S71)
Pay rate: £460 - £600 per week (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract type -Day-to-day/ Long-term, Full-time/ Part-time

GSL Education are currently searching for an experienced Teaching Assistant to join schools across the S70 and S71 areas of Barnsley.
As a Teaching Assistant (TA), you will work closely with teachers to help pupils access the curriculum, providing additional support to those who need it and fostering an inclusive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist pupils individually or in small groups with classroom tasks and activities.
- Support teachers in delivering lesson plans and preparing learning materials.
- Encourage positive behaviour and engagement during lessons.
- Monitor pupil progress and provide feedback to teaching staff.
- Help maintain a well-organised and supportive classroom environment.
Requirements of Teaching Assistant:
- Experience working in an educational setting is desirable.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patient, reliable, and proactive approach.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply.
