Job Title: Behaviour Support/Mentor
Location: Dinnington (S25)
Pay rate: £460 - £600 per week (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract type -Day-to-day/ Long-term, Full-time/ Part-time

GSL Education are currently welcoming applications from committed Behaviour Support staff/ Mentors to work in schools across Dinnington (S25). This is a rewarding opportunity to provide guidance, encouragement, and structure for pupils who need extra support.
As a Behaviour Support/Mentor, you will help pupils manage their behaviour, build confidence, and develop positive learning habits.
Key Duties of Behaviour Support/Mentor:
- Provide 1:1 or small group support to pupils with behavioural or social challenges.
- Encourage positive behaviour and help pupils develop self-discipline and resilience.
- Build strong, trusting relationships to support pupils’ emotional and social development.
- Work closely with teachers and school staff to implement behaviour management strategies.
- Monitor and report on pupil progress and provide feedback to the pastoral team.
- Support pupils in developing coping strategies and social skills.
Essential Requirements:
- Experience working with children or young people, ideally in a behaviour support or mentoring role.
- Patient, calm, and empathetic approach to challenging situations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to remain consistent and supportive while managing behaviour effectively.
- Commitment to helping pupils succeed academically and personally.
- An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one.
