Job Title: Cover Supervisor
Location: Sheffield (S13)
Pay rate: £460 - £650 per week (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract type -Day-to-day/ Long-term, Full-time/ Part-time

GSL Education are seeking a reliable Cover Supervisor to work with schools in Sheffield, including the S13 area, ensuring lessons run smoothly in the absence of the regular teacher.
As a Cover Supervisor (CS), you will supervise classes using pre-prepared lesson materials, maintain good behaviour, and help students stay focused and engaged in their learning.
Core Responsibilities:
- Supervise classes during teacher absence using provided lesson plans.
- Maintain positive behaviour and classroom discipline in line with school policies.
- Ensure students complete work and remain on task.
- Provide clear instructions and support where required.
- Report back to teaching staff on student progress and behaviour.
Requirements of Cover Supervisor:
- Previous experience working in a school or educational setting is desirable.
- Strong communication and classroom management skills.
- Confidence in leading a class independently.
- A commitment to safeguarding and student welfare.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
