Job Title: Teaching Assistant
Location: Sheffield (S5, S9)
Pay rate: £460 - £600 per week (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract type -Day-to-day/ Long-term, Full-time/ Part-time
Support pupils’ learning and development in a positive and engaging classroom environment!
GSL Education are currently hiring a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join schools in the S5 and S9 areas of Sheffield.
As a Teaching Assistant (TA), you will help deliver lessons, support pupils with learning needs, and contribute to a safe and inclusive school environment.
Main Responsibilities:
- Support pupils individually or in small groups with learning tasks.
- Assist teachers in delivering lesson plans and activities.
- Encourage positive behaviour and engagement in lessons.
- Monitor pupil progress and provide feedback to teaching staff.
- Help prepare resources and maintain an organised classroom.
Requirements of Teaching Assistant:
- Experience working in an educational setting is desirable.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patient, reliable, and proactive approach.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply.
