Job Title: Maths Teacher
Location: Sheffield (S2, S3)
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

Support students in building strong numeracy skills and confidence through engaging and well-structured mathematics lessons!

GSL Education are searching for a skilled Maths Teacher to join schools in Sheffield, covering the S2 and S3 areas. The Mathematics Teacher will deliver high-quality lessons that develop problem-solving, reasoning, and analytical skills across key stages.

Main Duties of Maths Teacher:

  • Plan and deliver maths lessons in line with the national curriculum.
  • Support students in developing problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Differentiate teaching to meet a range of abilities.
  • Maintain a positive and well-managed classroom environment.
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.

Essential Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
  • Experience teaching mathematics in a school setting.
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive education.
  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
