Job Title: English Teacher
Location: Sheffield (S2, S3)
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated English Teacher to join a supportive school in Sheffield (S2, S3). This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated teacher to engage students, build their confidence in English, and make lessons both enjoyable and accessible.
As an English Teacher, you will deliver high-quality lessons, support students of all abilities, and work closely with colleagues to ensure every pupil reaches their full potential. The successful candidate will be confident, approachable, and committed to creating a positive and engaging learning environment.
Core Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging English lessons
- Support students’ learning both individually and in groups
- Encourage reading, writing, and communication skills
- Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback
- Promote positive behaviour and student engagement
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop teaching resources
- Contribute to school activities, clubs, or enrichment sessions
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
- Experience teaching English
- Ability to inspire and engage students across all abilities
- Strong classroom management and organisational skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- An up-to-date CV covering the last ten years (with any gaps explained)
- An enhanced DBS certificate registered on the update service, or willingness to apply
