Job Title: PE Support
Location: Sheffield (S2, S3)
Pay rate: £460 - £600 per week (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are currently seeking motivated PE Support staff to work in schools across Sheffield (S2, S3). This is a great opportunity to be part of a dynamic school environment and help promote healthy, active lifestyles among pupils.

As a Physical Education (PE) Support, you will assist in delivering enjoyable and structured physical education sessions, encouraging participation and teamwork.

Key Duties of PE Support:

  • Support the PE teacher in delivering a variety of sports and physical activities.
  • Encourage pupils to take part and build confidence in physical education.
  • Help set up and organise equipment for lessons and activities.
  • Promote teamwork, discipline, and positive behaviour during sessions.
  • Ensure a safe and inclusive environment for all pupils.
  • Assist with monitoring pupil engagement and progress.

Essential Requirements:

  • Experience working with children or young people, ideally in a sports or school setting.
  • Interest in sports, fitness, or physical education.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Energetic, reliable, and proactive approach.
  • Ability to motivate and engage pupils of all abilities.
  • An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one.
