Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Sheffield (S2, S3)
Pay rate: £460 - £600 per week (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are seeking a motivated SEN Teaching Assistant to work within schools in Sheffield (S2, S3), providing tailored support to learners with special educational needs.
As Special Education Needs Teaching Assistant (SEN TA), you will work closely with teaching staff to deliver targeted support, helping pupils engage with lessons and develop both academically and socially.
What you’ll be doing as SEN TA:
- Provide one-to-one and small group support for pupils with SEN
- Assist in implementing individual education plans and support strategies
- Encourage positive behaviour and engagement with learning
- Support pupils’ social and emotional development
- Work collaboratively with teachers and support staff
What we’re looking for:
- Experience supporting children or young people with special educational needs
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A patient, adaptable, and caring approach
- Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive practice
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
