Job Title: 1:1 Teaching Assistant
Location: Sheffield (S2, S3)
Pay rate: £460 - £600 per week (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are seeking a dedicated 1:1 Teaching Assistant to work with schools in Sheffield, including the S2 and S3 areas, supporting pupils who require additional guidance in their learning.
As a 1:1 Teaching Assistant (TA), you will work closely with an individual student, providing tailored support to help them access the curriculum, build confidence, and stay engaged in a positive and structured classroom environment.
Key Duties of 1:1 Teaching Assistant:
- Provide one-to-one support tailored to the student’s individual needs.
- Assist the student in understanding and completing classroom tasks.
- Support the teacher in maintaining a positive and focused learning environment.
- Help manage behaviour and encourage positive engagement.
- Monitor progress and provide feedback to teaching staff.
- Promote independence, confidence, and wellbeing.
Essential Requirements:
- Previous experience working with children or young people is desirable.
- Experience supporting students on a one-to-one basis is an advantage.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A patient, supportive, and adaptable approach.
- A commitment to safeguarding and inclusive education.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
