Job Title: Behaviour Support Staff
Location: Sheffield (S2, S3)
Pay rate: £460 - £600 per week (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

Play a key role in supporting pupils to manage behaviour and succeed in a positive learning environment!

GSL Education are currently recruiting committed Behaviour Support Staff to work in schools across the S2 and S3 areas of Sheffield.

As part of the Behaviour Support Staff team, you will work closely with pupils who need additional guidance, helping them regulate behaviour, stay engaged in lessons, and build positive relationships.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide targeted support to pupils with behavioural needs.
  • Implement behaviour management strategies consistently.
  • Support pupils on a 1:1 and small group basis.
  • Assist with de-escalation and conflict resolution when required.
  • Work alongside teachers and pastoral teams to support pupil development.

Requirements of Behaviour Support Staff:

  • Experience working with children or young people with behavioural challenges.
  • Strong behaviour management and interpersonal skills.
  • Calm, patient, and resilient approach.
  • Ability to build trust and positive relationships with pupils.
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply.
