Job Title: Learning Support Assistant – Secondary Focus
Location: Sheffield
Salary: £460–£600 per week
Contract Type: Full-time, Long-term / Day-to-day
Start Date: Immediately
Do you enjoy helping secondary students stay engaged and reach their potential? A Sheffield school is looking for a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to provide targeted classroom support.

About the Role:
You will work alongside teachers to support students across subjects, helping them stay on task and achieve their learning goals.
Responsibilities:
- Support students during lessons and activities
- Provide one-to-one and small group support
- Encourage engagement and independent learning
- Assist with classroom organisation and resources
- Monitor and report on student progress
Requirements:
- Experience working with secondary students desirable
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Patient, proactive, and adaptable
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team

- Have the right to work in the UK
- Hold an up-to-date CV with two relevant references from the last 2 years
- Have a DBS registered to the update service or be happy to apply for one with GSL Education
