Job Title: Sports Coach / Learning Support
Location: Sheffield
Salary: £460–£650 per week
Contract Type: Full-time, Long-term / Day-to-day
Start Date: Immediately
Do you have a sports background and a natural ability to motivate young people? A Sheffield school is seeking an energetic Sports Coach / Learning Support Assistant to bring enthusiasm, structure, and engagement into the classroom.

About the Role:
You will support lessons, supervise classes, and use your sports experience to engage students—particularly those who respond well to practical and hands-on approaches.
Responsibilities:
- Support teachers in delivering lessons and activities
- Supervise classes when required
- Use sports-based approaches to motivate students
- Support behaviour management and engagement
- Provide feedback to teaching staff
Requirements:
- Background in sports coaching or fitness
- Confidence working with groups of students
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable, proactive, and adaptable

- Have the right to work in the UK
- Hold an up-to-date CV with two relevant references from the last 2 years
- Have a DBS registered to the update service or be happy to apply for one with GSL Education
