Job Title: SEMH Teaching Assistant
Location: Rotherham – S25
Salary: £460–£600 per week
Contract Type: Full-time, Long-term / Day-to-day
Start Date: Immediately

About the Role:
You will support students on a one-to-one or small group basis, helping them manage behaviour, stay focused, and build confidence in learning.
Responsibilities:
- Support students with SEMH needs in lessons
- Implement behaviour strategies and support plans
- Encourage positive engagement and independence
- Support emotional and social development
- Track and report on student progress
Requirements:
- Experience with SEMH or SEN students preferred
- Strong behaviour management and communication skills
- Patient, calm, and adaptable
- Ability to build strong relationships

- Have the right to work in the UK
- Hold an up-to-date CV with two relevant references from the last 2 years
- Have a DBS registered to the update service or be happy to apply for one with GSL Education
