Job Title: Full-Time Maths Teacher (Secondary School)

About the Role:
We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established secondary school in Manchester for a dedicated and enthusiastic Maths Teacher to join their team on a long-term, full-time basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate educator to make a real impact on students' learning and progress within a supportive school environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality Maths lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (Key Stage 5 desirable but not essential)
- Assess, monitor, and report on student progress
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports all learners
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively in line with school policies
- Contribute to departmental planning and school-wide initiatives
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or PGCE in Mathematics
- A valid DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one
- Experience teaching Maths in a secondary school setting (placements considered for ECTs)
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for teaching Mathematics
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills
