Role: SEN Teacher

Location: Dinnington (S25)
Pay: Up to £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: ASAP
Contract: Day-to-Day / Long-Term, Part-Time / Full-Time

Are you an SEN Teacher who can adapt, support, and inspire students with additional needs?

GSL Education are seeking a dedicated and experienced SEN Teacher to work in a specialist setting in Dinnington (S25). This is a rewarding opportunity for a committed SEN Teacher who is passionate about inclusive education and supporting students with a range of special educational needs.

As an Special Educational Needs Teacher, you will deliver tailored lessons that meet individual learning needs, helping students to engage, progress, and build confidence. The successful SEN Teacher will create a structured and supportive environment where every student feels valued and understood.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver adapted lessons as an SEN Teacher
  • Support students with a range of additional needs
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
  • Manage behaviour effectively using appropriate strategies
  • Work closely with support staff and SEN teams
  • Monitor progress and provide feedback to support development

Requirements:

  • QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
  • Experience working as an SEN Teacher or with SEN students
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills
  • Patient, flexible, and resilient approach
  • An up-to-date CV covering the last ten years (with any gaps explained)
  • An enhanced DBS on the update service, or willingness to apply
