Contract: Full-Time, 1-Year Fixed Term
Salary: MPS/UPS (dependent on experience)
A Rare Opportunity in a Well-Run KS2 Setting
A highly regarded primary school in M16 is looking to appoint a confident and committed Year 3 Teacher for a long-term role starting this summer term, continuing on a 1-year contract.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a KS2 Teacher to step into a school where behaviour is well managed, leadership is supportive, and systems are already in place — allowing you to focus on delivering high-quality teaching from day one.
Whether you’re looking to secure a stable long-term role now or get ahead of September competition, this role offers both immediate impact and longer-term security.
About the Role – Year 3 Teacher (KS2 Teacher South Manchester)

- Deliver engaging and well-structured lessons across the KS2 curriculum
- Support pupils transitioning into Key Stage 2

- Work collaboratively with parallel staff and leadership
- Create a positive, structured, and inclusive classroom environment
This is a great opportunity for a teacher who enjoys Lower KS2 and understands the importance of building strong foundations in Year 3.
Why This School?
- Supportive and visible SLT who back their staff
- Clear behaviour policies – no firefighting
- Strong team culture with shared planning and support
- Well-organised classrooms and established routines
- A positive school environment where staff feel valued
This is the kind of school where teachers can focus on teaching, not managing chaos.

- Strong classroom and behaviour management
- A structured, organised, and proactive approach
- Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
