Job Title: Nursery Nurse
Location: Middlesbrough
Pay rate: £90-£120 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Full Time

A welcoming setting within one of our partnership schools in Middlesbrough is seeking a caring and reliable Nursery Nurse to work in their 2-year-old provision. This role involves supporting young children at a key stage of development through play-based learning, structured routines, and a nurturing approach.
The successful Nursery Nurse will help create a safe, engaging, and supportive environment, while also assisting with personal care, including changing nappies. You will work closely with staff to ensure each child feels secure, valued, and supported in developing essential early years skills.
Prime Responsibilities of Nursery Nurse:
- Assist in delivering a range of creative and play-based activities suitable for young children.
- Engage directly with children during activities, including sitting and interacting with them on the carpet.
- Provide personal care, including nappy changing, in a respectful and supportive manner.
- Help create a warm, safe, and inclusive learning environment.
- Support children aged 2–4 by engaging closely in their daily routines, nurturing their social, emotional, and physical growth.
- Support the team in monitoring and recording children’s progress.
Requirements of Nursery Nurse:
- Previous experience in an early years or nursery setting is desirable.
- A caring, calm, and proactive approach when working with young children.
- Comfortable supporting personal care routines, including changing nappies.
- Ability to build positive relationships with children and staff.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one.
