Job Title: PE Support
Location: Wakefield (WF4)
Pay rate: £460 - £600 per week (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract type -Day-to-day/ Long-term, Full-time/ Part-time

GSL Education are currently welcoming applications from enthusiastic PE Support staff to work in schools across Wakefield (WF4). This is an exciting opportunity to support teachers in delivering fun, safe, and effective physical education sessions.

As a Physical Education (PE) Support, you will assist in encouraging pupils to develop fitness, coordination, and teamwork skills while enjoying sport and movement activities.

Key Duties of PE Support:

  • Support PE teachers in planning and delivering lessons.
  • Assist pupils in learning and practicing different sports and physical activities.
  • Help maintain a safe and positive environment during lessons.
  • Encourage teamwork, fair play, and healthy competition.
  • Support assessment and feedback on pupil participation and progress.

Essential Requirements:

  • Experience working with children in a school or sports setting.
  • Good understanding of PE, sports, or physical activities.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Energetic, patient, and motivating approach to working with pupils.
  • An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one.
