Job Title: RE Teacher
Location: Rotherham (S65, S66)
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are currently welcoming applications from a knowledgeable RE Teacher to work in schools across Rotherham (S65, S66). This is an exciting opportunity to help pupils develop understanding, tolerance, and critical thinking about the world’s religions and moral issues.

As a Religious Education (RE) Teacher, you will deliver engaging lessons that encourage reflection, discussion, and curiosity about beliefs, values, and ethical questions.

Key Duties:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality RE lessons across key stages.
  • Teach about different religions, ethical issues, and worldviews.
  • Support pupils in developing critical thinking, discussion, and reflection skills.
  • Assess pupil progress and provide constructive feedback.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to support curriculum delivery.

Essential Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
  • Experience working as RE Teacher in a school setting.
  • Strong subject knowledge and classroom management skills.
  • An engaging, enthusiastic, and motivating teaching approach.
  • An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one.
