Job Title: Geography Teacher
Location: Rotherham (S65, S66)
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

Do you enjoy teaching Geography and inspiring students to explore the world around them?

GSL Education are seeking a dedicated Geography Teacher to work with schools in Rotherham, including the S65 and S66 areas, delivering engaging lessons that develop students’ understanding of physical and human geography.

As a Geography Teacher, you will deliver well-structured lessons that encourage critical thinking, map skills, and real-world awareness, while fostering a supportive and inclusive classroom environment.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality Geography lessons in line with the national curriculum.
  • Teach topics covering physical and human geography, fieldwork, and environmental issues.
  • Encourage critical thinking, research skills, and independent learning.
  • Maintain a positive and well-managed classroom environment.
  • Assess student progress and provide clear, constructive feedback.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to support curriculum delivery.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
  • Experience working as a Geography Teacher in a school setting.
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and inclusive education.
  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
