Job Title: Geography Teacher
Location: Sheffield (S35)
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time
Help students explore the world around them and understand the connections between people, places, and environments through engaging geography lessons!
GSL Education are searching for an experienced Geography Teacher to join a school in Sheffield, covering the S35 area. The Geography Teacher will deliver structured and inspiring lessons that develop map skills, enquiry-based learning, and awareness of global and environmental issues.
Responsibilities of Geography Teacher:
- Plan and deliver geography lessons in line with the national curriculum.
- Support students in developing research, analytical, and fieldwork skills.
- Encourage discussion on environmental change and global development.
- Maintain a positive and focused classroom environment.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching geography in a school setting.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive education.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
