Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant (Sports Background)
Location: Doncaster (DN2)
Salary Range: £105 – £110 per day (depending on experience)
Start Time: Immediate
Contract: Full-time

GSL Education are seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant (TA) with a strong sports background to join a welcoming school in Doncaster (DN2). Your enthusiasm, patience, and energy can help create an environment where every child feels valued and empowered to succeed.
Key Responsibilities of an SEN TA (Sports Background):
- Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with a range of SEN needs.
- Use sport and physical activity as a tool to increase engagement, confidence, and emotional regulation.
- Assist teachers in delivering tailored learning plans that meet individual pupil needs.
- Help promote positive behaviour, teamwork, and resilience.
- Support pupils during lessons, break times, and enrichment activities.
- Contribute to creating inclusive, safe, and supportive learning environments.
Job Requirements for SEN TA:
- Experience working with children or young people with SEN.
- Background in sports coaching, PE support, or sport-related activities.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to motivate and encourage pupils with varying needs and abilities.
- Patience, creativity, and a commitment to helping every child reach their potential.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
