Job Title: Design Technology Teacher
Location: Sheffield (S11)
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

Schools in Sheffield (S11) and GSL Education are hiring a skilled Design Technology Teacher to deliver engaging and practical lessons.
As a Design Technology (DT) Teacher, you will support students in developing technical skills, creativity, and problem-solving abilities through hands-on projects. You will create a safe and structured environment where learners feel confident working with tools, materials, and design processes.
Prime Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver practical and engaging DT lessons.
- Teach safe use of tools, equipment, and materials.
- Assess and monitor student progress regularly.
- Encourage creativity, innovation, and independent thinking.
- Maintain high standards of behaviour and workshop safety.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching Design Technology in a school setting.
- Strong classroom and workshop management skills.
- Good communication and organisational abilities.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply.
