Job Title: Maths Teacher
Location: Sheffield (S11)
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time
Support students in building confidence with numbers and developing strong problem-solving skills through clear and engaging mathematics lessons!
GSL Education are hiring a skilled Maths Teacher to join a school in Sheffield, covering the S11 area. The Mathematics Teacher will deliver structured lessons that strengthen numerical fluency, algebraic understanding, and logical reasoning across key stages.
Main Duties:
- Plan and deliver high-quality maths lessons in line with the national curriculum.
- Support students in developing problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Differentiate learning to meet a range of abilities.
- Maintain a positive and well-managed classroom environment.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
Essential Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
- Experience working as Maths Teacher in a school setting.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive education.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
