Job Title: Sports Coach
Location: Barnsley (S70, S71)
Pay rate: £460 - £600 per week (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract type -Day-to-day/ Long-term, Full-time/ Part-time 

Are you an energetic and motivating Sports Coach who enjoys helping young people develop their skills and confidence through sport?

Schools in Barnsley (S70, S71) and GSL Education are seeking a motivated Sports Coach to deliver engaging and structured PE and sports sessions.

As a Sports Coach, you will support pupils in developing teamwork, fitness, and sporting skills while creating a positive and inclusive environment that encourages participation and personal growth.

Key Duties:

  • Deliver engaging PE and sports sessions to students.
  • Promote teamwork, fitness, and positive participation.
  • Support pupils during lessons, clubs, and school sporting activities.
  • Encourage good behaviour and a positive attitude through sport.
  • Work collaboratively with teaching and support staff.

Essential Requirements:

  • Previous experience coaching sports or working with young people.
  • Energetic, motivated, and supportive approach.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to manage groups of pupils effectively.
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply.
