Job Title: History Teacher
Location: Sheffield (S5, S9)
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time
Are you a passionate History Teacher who can bring the past to life and inspire students to think critically?
Schools in Sheffield (S5, S9) and GSL Education are looking for a passionate History Teacher to deliver engaging and well-structured lessons.
As a History Teacher, you will support students in exploring key historical events, analysing sources, and understanding different perspectives. You will create a positive classroom environment where discussion, enquiry, and independent learning are encouraged.
Core Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver clear and engaging history lessons.
- Encourage source analysis and critical thinking skills.
- Monitor and assess student progress regularly.
- Adapt teaching methods to meet different learning needs.
- Maintain high standards of behaviour and engagement.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching History in a school setting.
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
- Good communication and organisational abilities.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply.
