Job Title: MFL Teacher
Location: Sheffield (S5, S9)
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time
Are you a passionate MFL Teacher who can inspire students to learn new languages and explore different cultures?
GSL Education are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated MFL Teacher to join a supportive school in Sheffield (S5, S9). This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated teacher to engage students, build their confidence in languages, and make lessons both interactive and enjoyable.
As a Modern Foreign Language (MFL) Teacher, you will deliver high-quality lessons, support students of all abilities, and work closely with colleagues to ensure every pupil reaches their full potential. The successful candidate will be confident, approachable, and committed to creating an inclusive and engaging learning environment.
Prime Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging MFL lessons to secondary school students
- Support students’ learning both individually and in groups
- Encourage communication skills and cultural awareness
- Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback
- Promote positive behaviour and student engagement
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop teaching resources
- Contribute to language clubs or enrichment activities
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
- Experience teaching MFL at secondary level
- Ability to inspire and engage students across all abilities
- Strong classroom management and organisational skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- An up-to-date CV covering the last ten years (with any gaps explained)
- An enhanced DBS certificate registered on the update service, or willingness to apply
