Job Title: Cover Supervisor
Location: Worksop
Salary: Up to £120 per day
Contract Type: Day-to-day / Long-term
Start Date: Immediately
Do you have the confidence and experience to supervise classes and keep students engaged? A secondary school in Worksop is seeking a reliable Cover Supervisor to support teaching staff and ensure lessons run smoothly in the absence of the class teacher.

About the Role:
You will supervise lessons using pre-prepared plans, manage classroom behaviour, and ensure students remain on task throughout the school day. This is a key role in supporting the smooth running of the school and maintaining high standards of learning.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver pre-prepared lessons and keep students engaged
- Maintain classroom discipline and a positive learning environment
- Support students in the absence of the class teacher
- Work collaboratively with teaching staff to ensure continuity of learning
- Keep accurate records of student engagement and behaviour
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Cover Supervisor or in a classroom-based role
- Strong classroom management skills
- Confidence leading a class independently
- Flexible, reliable, and professional
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Hold an up-to-date CV with two relevant references from the last 2 years
- Have a DBS registered on the update service or be happy to apply for one with GSL Education
