Primary Teacher
Location: Canterbury, Kent
Salary: £120 – £250 per day (depending on experience)
Start date: ASAP
Contract: Supply / Long-term / Permanent

We have an exciting opportunity for a passionate Primary Teacher to join a welcoming and high-achieving primary school located in Canterbury. The selected Primary Teacher will be responsible for delivering high-quality education to a Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2 class, supporting pupils to reach their full potential in a supportive and nurturing environment.

As a Primary Teacher, you will be expected to:
- Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons across the primary curriculum.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes high standards of behaviour and achievement.
- Assess, record, and report on pupil progress, using data to inform future planning.
- Build strong relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues to support each child's development.
- Contribute to the wider life of the school, including extracurricular activities and school events.
In order to be considered for this Primary Teacher role, the candidate must:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Have experience teaching in a UK primary school (Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2).
- Possess a strong understanding of the primary curriculum and assessment frameworks.
- Have the right to work in the UK.
- Meet GSL's safer recruitment background checks.
- Have a Child Enhanced DBS certificate registered on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one.
