Job Title: MFL Teacher
Location: Barnsley (S70, S71)
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract type -Day-to-day/ Long-term, Full-time/ Part-time

GSL Education are searching for a motivated MFL Teacher to join schools in Barnsley, covering the S70 and S71 areas. The Modern Foreign Language (MFL) Teacher will deliver high-quality lessons that build speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills across key stages.

Main Duties of MFL Teacher:

  • Plan and deliver MFL lessons in line with the curriculum.
  • Encourage students to practise communication in the target language.
  • Support learners of all abilities through differentiated teaching.
  • Promote cultural awareness and language appreciation.
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.

Essential Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
  • Experience teaching a modern foreign language in a school setting.
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills.
  • Passion for languages and cultural learning.
  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
