Job Title: Science Teacher
Location: Barnsley (S70, S71)
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract type -Day-to-day/ Long-term, Full-time/ Part-time

Schools in Barnsley (S70, S71) and GSL Education are seeking a committed Science Teacher to deliver engaging and well-structured lessons.
As a Science Teacher, you will support students in developing scientific knowledge, practical skills, and critical thinking. You will create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where learners feel confident exploring experiments and scientific ideas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging and practical science lessons.
- Support students in understanding key scientific concepts.
- Monitor and assess student progress regularly.
- Encourage curiosity, enquiry, and independent learning.
- Maintain high standards of behaviour and classroom engagement.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching Science in a school setting.
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
- Good communication and organisational abilities.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply.
