Job Title: Science Teacher
Location: Sheffield (S5, S9)
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

Are you an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Science Teacher who enjoys inspiring students to explore and understand the world around them?

Schools in Sheffield (S5, S9) and GSL Education are searching for a knowledgeable Science Teacher to deliver engaging and practical lessons across the curriculum.

As a Science Teacher, you will support students in developing scientific knowledge, practical skills, and analytical thinking. You will create a positive classroom environment where pupils feel motivated to learn, experiment, and achieve their potential.

Key Duties:

  • Plan and deliver engaging Science lessons, including practical activities.
  • Support students in developing knowledge and scientific skills.
  • Monitor and assess student progress regularly.
  • Encourage curiosity, critical thinking, and independent learning.
  • Maintain high standards of behaviour and classroom engagement.

Essential Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Experience teaching Science in a school setting.
  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
  • Good communication and organisational abilities.
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply.
