Job Title: Maths Teacher
Location: Sheffield (S5, S9)
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time
Help students build strong numeracy skills and confidence in problem-solving through engaging and well-structured mathematics lessons!
GSL Education are hiring a skilled Mathematics Teacher to join schools in Sheffield, covering the S5 and S9 areas. The Maths Teacher will deliver lessons that develop understanding, critical thinking, and practical application of mathematical concepts across key stages.
Main Duties of Maths Teacher:
- Plan and deliver high-quality maths lessons in line with the national curriculum.
- Support students in developing problem-solving, reasoning, and analytical skills.
- Encourage engagement and confidence in all areas of mathematics.
- Maintain a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
Essential Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching mathematics in a school setting.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive education.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
