Job Title: RE Teacher
Location: Sheffield (S2, S3)
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are currently welcoming applications from a dedicated RE Teacher to work in schools across Sheffield (S2, S3). This is a fantastic opportunity to deliver engaging lessons that encourage critical thinking, reflection, and respect for diverse perspectives.

As a Religious Education (RE) Teacher, you will support pupils in understanding religious concepts, ethical issues, and cultural contexts while fostering thoughtful discussion and enquiry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality RE lessons as an RE Teacher.
  • Encourage pupils to develop understanding of different religions, ethical dilemmas, and worldviews.
  • Promote discussion, enquiry, and critical thinking skills.
  • Assess pupil progress and provide constructive feedback.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to support curriculum development.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
  • Experience teaching Religious Education in a school setting.
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills.
  • An engaging, patient, and inspiring teaching approach.
  • An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one.
