Job Title: Primary Teacher
Location: Newcastle
Salary: £150 – £220 per day (Depending on Experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day / Long-term | Part-time / Full-time

GSL Education are seeking dedicated, enthusiastic, and passionate Primary Teacher to work across a variety of welcoming and inclusive primary school in Newcastle. As a Primary Teacher, you will create engaging lessons, support pupils of all abilities, and contribute to a positive, nurturing school environment where every child can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

Your Role as a Primary Teacher Will Include:

  • Delivering well‑planned, inspiring lessons across the primary curriculum.
  • Creating a positive classroom environment that encourages curiosity and confidence.
  • Differentiating learning to support pupils with varying abilities and needs.
  • Assessing student progress and providing constructive feedback.
  • Working collaboratively with teaching assistants and other staff members.
  • Ensuring the highest standards of safeguarding and child protection.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience teaching within a primary setting (EYFS, KS1 and/or KS2).
  • Strong classroom management skills and the ability to build positive relationships.
  • A creative, adaptable, and proactive approach to teaching.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
