Job Title: Behaviour Support/Mentor
Location: Dinnington (S25)
Pay rate: £460 - £600 per week (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract type -Day-to-day/ Long-term, Full-time/ Part-time

GSL Education are currently welcoming applications from motivated individuals for the role of Behaviour Support/Mentor in schools across Dinnington (S25). This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact by supporting pupils’ emotional wellbeing, behaviour, and engagement in learning.

As a Behaviour Support/Mentor, you will work closely with pupils who require guidance, helping them develop coping strategies, confidence, and positive behaviours in school.

Key Duties:

  • Provide one-to-one and small group support for pupils as a Behaviour Support/Mentor.
  • Implement behaviour management strategies and support plans.
  • Encourage emotional regulation, resilience, and positive social interactions.
  • Build trusting relationships with pupils to support their personal development.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, pastoral teams, and SEN staff.

Essential Requirements:

  • Experience working with children or young people with behavioural or SEMH needs.
  • A calm, patient, and resilient approach.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and mentoring skills.
  • Ability to manage challenging situations effectively.
  • An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one.
