Job Title: SEMH Teaching Assistant
Location: Sheffield
Salary: £460–£600 per week
Contract Type: Full-time, Long-term / Day-to-day
Start Date: Immediately

About the Role:
You will support students with SEMH needs, helping them manage emotions, stay engaged in lessons, and make progress both academically and personally.
Responsibilities:
- Support students with SEMH needs during lessons
- Implement behaviour and support strategies
- Build strong, trusting relationships with students
- Encourage emotional regulation and engagement
- Monitor and report on progress
Requirements:
- Experience working with SEMH or SEN students desirable
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Patient, resilient, and empathetic approach
- Ability to adapt to individual needs
To work with GSL Education as a SEMH Teaching Assistant, you should:
- Have the right to work in the UK
- Hold an up-to-date CV with two relevant references from the last 2 years
- Have a DBS registered to the update service or be happy to apply for one with GSL Education
