Job Title: Drama Teacher
Location: Sheffield (S2, S3)
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

Are you a creative Drama Teacher who can inspire students to express themselves with confidence?

GSL Education are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Drama Teacher to join a supportive school in Sheffield (S2, S3). This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated teacher to engage students, build their confidence, and bring creativity into the classroom through performance and drama.

As a Drama Teacher, you will deliver engaging lessons, support students of all abilities, and work closely with colleagues to help every pupil reach their full potential. The successful candidate will be energetic, imaginative, and passionate about encouraging self-expression and creativity.

Prime Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality Drama lessons to secondary school students
  • Encourage creativity, confidence, and performance skills
  • Support students’ learning both individually and in groups
  • Monitor progress and provide constructive feedback
  • Promote positive behaviour and student engagement
  • Organise and support school productions, performances, or drama clubs
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop creative teaching resources

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
  • Experience teaching Drama at secondary level
  • Ability to inspire and engage students across all abilities
  • Strong classroom management and organisational skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • An up-to-date CV covering the last ten years (with any gaps explained)
  • An enhanced DBS certificate registered on the update service, or willingness to apply
