Job Title: Geography Teacher
Location: Sheffield – S5
Salary: Up to £220 per day
Contract Type: Full-time, Long-term / Day-to-day
Start Date: Immediately

Do you bring geography to life beyond the textbook? A Sheffield school is seeking an engaging Geography Teacher who can inspire curiosity about the world and help students connect learning to real-life issues.

About the Role:
You will deliver engaging geography lessons, helping students develop analytical thinking, map skills, and an understanding of environmental and human geography.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver geography lessons aligned with the national curriculum
  • Encourage curiosity about global and environmental topics
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
  • Maintain strong classroom behaviour and engagement
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to support outcomes

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Experience teaching geography in a secondary setting desirable
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills
  • Passion for inspiring students
