Job Title: SEMH Teacher
Location: Dinnington (S25)
Payrate: £160-£220 Per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract: Day-to-day / Long-term | Part-time / Full-time
Support pupils with social, emotional, and mental health needs to achieve success in a nurturing and structured environment!
GSL Education are currently looking for a passionate Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) Teacher to work in schools in the Dinnington (S25) area.
As an SEMH Teacher, you will deliver tailored lessons and interventions that support pupils in managing behaviour, developing resilience, and re-engaging with learning.
Prime Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver differentiated lessons suited to SEMH needs.
- Implement behaviour support strategies and personalised plans.
- Support pupils in developing emotional regulation and coping skills.
- Monitor and assess academic and behavioural progress.
- Work collaboratively with SENCOs, pastoral teams, and external agencies.
Requirements of SEMH Teacher:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Experience working with pupils with SEMH needs.
- Strong behaviour management and de-escalation skills.
- Patient, resilient, and empathetic approach.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply.
