PMLD SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Islington, North London
Pay: £195–£120 per day
Start: ASAP
Contract: Full-time / Long-term
A specialist school in Islington is looking for a compassionate PMLD SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with profound and multiple learning disabilities (PMLD). This is a hands-on role working closely with students who require high levels of personalised support to access learning, develop life skills, and engage with their school environment.
You will assist pupils with daily routines, communication, personal care, mobility, and participation in lessons, working 1:1 and in small groups. You’ll be part of a multidisciplinary team, contributing to individual support plans and helping pupils achieve their personal goals in a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment.
