Role: RE Teacher
Location: Doncaster (DN2, DN6)
Pay: Up to £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: ASAP
Contract: Day-to-Day / Long-Term, Part-Time / Full-Time
Are you an RE Teacher who can inspire thoughtful discussion and encourage students to explore different beliefs and values?
GSL Education are seeking a dedicated Religious Education Teacher to work in secondary schools across Doncaster (DN2, DN6). This is a great opportunity for a passionate RE Teacher who can deliver engaging lessons and help students develop understanding, respect, and critical thinking skills.
As an RE Teacher, you will teach Religious Education across Key Stages 3 and 4, creating a positive learning environment where students feel confident to share ideas and ask questions. The successful RE Teacher will be enthusiastic, organised, and committed to high standards of teaching and behaviour.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging RE lessons in line with the curriculum
- Encourage discussion, reflection, and respectful debate
- Support students of different abilities to achieve their best
- Maintain a well-managed and inclusive classroom
- Work collaboratively with the humanities department
- Monitor progress and provide feedback to support learning
Requirements:
- QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
- Experience teaching RE in a secondary school
- Strong classroom management skills
- Good communication and organisational ability
- An up-to-date CV covering the last ten years (with any gaps explained)
- An enhanced DBS certificate registered on the update service, or willingness to apply
