Tutor

Location: Bridlington
Salary: £25 – £35 per hour
Contract: Part Time / Flexible
Start Date: Immediate

GSL Education are seeking dedicated and experienced Tutors to provide face to face support for pupils in Bridlington, with an immediate start available.

About the Role

This role involves delivering personalised tuition to pupils who require additional academic support outside of a mainstream classroom setting. Sessions may take place in community settings, libraries or at the pupil’s home, focusing on building confidence and supporting progress in core subjects.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver tailored 1:1 or small group tuition sessions

  • Support pupils in subjects such as English, Maths or Science

  • Plan engaging sessions based on individual learning needs

  • Monitor and report on pupil progress

  • Build positive relationships to support engagement and confidence

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant tutoring experience

  • Experience working with primary or secondary aged pupils

  • Ability to adapt teaching to meet individual needs

  • Strong communication and organisational skills

  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply
